the Forum is organised by the Institute on Diabetes and Obesity (IDO), a non profit, non governmental organization and aims to become an institution in the field of metabolic disorders and to play a significant educational role for young scientists and health professionals.
The scientific program of IDOF addresses all the dramatically emerging issues in the field of diabetes and obesity, with emphasis on dynamic topics and controversial issues relating to the treatment of diabetes, obesity and their complications. It is structured in such a way as to cover all the critical aspects in both basic and clinical research, with emphasis on interactivity and vivid exchange of information.
The Forum is primarily aimed at physicians specializing in diabetes, obesity, endocrinology and metabolism, cardiologists, bariatric surgeons and internists. At the same time it will also offer a great opportunity for nutritionists, dieticians and medical students to expand their knowledge in this emerging global epidemic. We feel confident that IDOF will be of significant benefit to the continuing education of all its attendees.
