NEW YORK (Reuters Health) Aug 28 –
Radical prostatectomy may extend life even in men with advanced prostate cancer, according to a report published in the September Journal of Urology.
Adjuvant nephrectomy improves survival in patients with metastatic renal carcinoma, raising the question as to whether or not treating the primary tumor can improve outcomes in metastatic prostate cancer, the authors explain.
