CHICAGO (Reuters Health) Apr 11 – Aspirin therapy may be perfectly safe in patients with incidental cerebral aneurysms, according to a preliminary study conducted at the Mayo Clinic and presented here this week at the 2002 annual meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
The study examined outcomes of patients with acute subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), comparing patients with and without histories of regular aspirin use.
