Northern Ireland’s Galen Holdings PLC said on Monday that it has received an approvable letter from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its estradiol acetate intravaginal ring, a hormone replacement therapy for the treatment of menopausal symptoms.
The intravaginal ring was designed to deliver 50 or 100 micrograms of estradiol acetate over a 90-day period.
