NEW YORK (Reuters Health) May 22 –
Children with migraine exhibit a more negative potential shift prior to self-initiated movement compared to children without migraine, German investigators report. Dr. Gudrun Sartory, of the University of Wuppertal, and associates measured electroencephalographic and vertical electroculographic signals in children as they pressed a button 80 times at intervals of
approximately 4 seconds with their right index finger.
At the same time, electromyographic signals were recorded from the musculus flexor
digitorum superficialis of the right arm.
