Adult patients with fractures of the olecranon appear to have a favourable long-term outcome.

The incidence of olecranon fractures in 73 subjects and their outcome were studied by researchers at the departments of Orthopaedics and Diagnostic Radiology, Malmo University Hospital, Sweden.
