Cell Therapeutics Inc. (CTI) said on Monday preliminary results of a phase II study testing Trisenox (arsenic trioxide) as a stand-alone therapy indicate the drug induced stable disease in eight of 24 relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma patients.
The company presented the results, as well as additional myeloma efficacy and safety data on Trisenox, at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) meeting in Philadelphia.
