High red meat intake and low vegetable intake is associated with an increased risk of colorectal cancer in an Asian population, according to a report published in the December 1st issue of Cancer.
In Western populations, it is well established that dietary factors influence the risk of colorectal cancer. In contrast, few studies have examined the impact of such factors on colorectal cancer risk in Asian populations.
