The US Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday issued a MedWatch alert highlighting a letter issued by Pharmacia to inform healthcare professionals of changes to the prescribing information for Camptosar (irinotecan).
Camptosar is used in combination with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) and leucovorin (LV) as first-line treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer.
