Motor nerve conduction velocity (MNCV) testing can predict foot ulceration and death in patients with diabetes, according to a report published in the November issue of Diabetes Care.
Although MNCV testing is often used in clinical trials to assess the efficacy of various treatments for diabetic peripheral neuropathy, it has been unclear if MNCV testing can predict foot problems in diabetics.
