Adoptive T cell therapy with tumor-antigen-specific T cell clones shows promise as a treatment for metastatic melanoma, according to a report in the PNAS Early Edition for the week of November 11th.
T-cell defined antigens in melanoma have been used in vaccine trials, the authors explain, but the T cell response has generally been low.
