Duct tape occlusion therapy is significantly more effective in treating common warts than is cryotherapy, researchers report.
Dr. Dean R. Focht III from Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, and colleagues randomly assigned 61 patients, 3 to 22 years of age, to cryotherapy for a maximum of 6 weeks or to duct tape occlusion for a maximum of 2 months.
