A clear pattern of laboratory findings has yet to be determined in nephrogenic fibrosing dermatopathology, but new research suggests a role for fibrogenic cytokines.
Lyndon Dy Su, MD, a clinical assistant professor in the pathology department at University of Michigan Medical School, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States, reported the findings on 13 patients with nephrogenic fibrosing dermatopathology here last week at the annual meeting of the American Association of Dermatopathology (ASDP).
