The Danish pharmaceutical firm Lundbeck said on Monday that the results of phase III trials of etilevodopa for Parkinson’s disease, which Lundbeck developed in collaboration with Israel’s Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, were a disappointment.
Lundbeck and Teva did not find etilevodopa to be significantly superior to levodopa, the Danish company said in a statement.
