The jury is still out on the efficacy of computed tomography (CT) screening for lung cancer, but researchers from Memorial Sloan-Kettering and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center report that a formula based on sex, age, smoking years, and exposure to asbestos may help identify those individuals most likely to benefit from screening.
