A report published in the current issue of Cephalalgia suggests that there is no significant difference in systolic or diastolic blood pressure in women with chronic daily headache compared with women without headache.
In a cross-sectional study, Dr. Isabela J. M. Bense or and colleagues from the University of S o Paulo, Brazil, used 24-h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring to investigate the association between high blood pressure and chronic daily headache. Sixty-two patients with chronic daily headache and 57 without headache were examined.
