Impotence Drug Tadalafil Demonstrates Long-Lasting Effect

ORLANDO, Florida (Reuters Health) May 31 –

Men with erectile dysfunction can have sexual intercourse for up to 36 hours after taking a single dose of the investigational phosphodiesterase inhibitor tadalafil (Cialis), according to study findings presented here at the American Urological Association’s annual meeting.

 Tadalafil provides an advantage by making sex more spontaneous, “because a person doesn’t have to take the pill just before having sex,” commented Dr. Hartmut Porst of the University of Hamburg, Germany, who presented the findings.
