GnRH Antagonist During IVF Improves Rate of Oocyte Retrieval in Older Women


NEW YORK (Reuters Health) May 17 –

 In women older than 39 years who are undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF), addition of a midcycle GnRH antagonist to the ovarian stimulation regimen increases the rate of oocyte retrieval, physicians in New York report, although whether clinical outcomes are improved by this change is unclear.
