SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters Health) Apr 09 -In a phase II trial of smokers and former smokers, a drug indicated for dry mouth, anethole dithiolethione, reduced progression of existing bronchial dysplasia by 22% compared with placebo.
The results were reported here Tuesday at the 93rd Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research.
