NEW YORK (Reuters Health) May 21 –
About half of children diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) also have a learning disability, according to results of a national survey released on Tuesday by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The survey also found that 7% of children, 6 to 11 years of age, are diagnosed with ADHD. This brings the total number of children diagnosed with at least one of these disorders to 2.6 million.
