Treatment with OM-85, an immunoactive bacterial extract, significantly reduces the occurrence of upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs) in children prone to such infections, according to a recent report.
OM-85 is being developed by Geneva, Switzerland-based company OM Pharma under the trade name Broncho-Vaxom.
