LONDON (Reuters Health) May 16 –
An educational intervention programme significantly improves the knowledge UK students have about the time limits of emergency contraception but does not alter sexual behaviour or emergency contraception use, UK researchers report. Writing in the May 18th issue of the British Medical Journal, Dr. Anna Graham, from the University of Bristol, and colleagues report data on 916 boys and 852 girls, 14 to 15 years of age, from 12 schools, who were given a single lesson on emergency contraception by teachers who had undergone inservice training.
