In patients thought to have carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), electrodiagnostic testing is the best method of confirming the diagnosis, according to three reports published in the June 11th issue of Neurology.
Dr. Charles K. Jablecki, from the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, in Rochester, Minnesota, and colleagues reviewed data from 31 studies in which electrodiagnostic tests were used to diagnose CTS.
