FRANKFURT, Germany (Reuters Health) Mar 26 – Lawsuits were filed today against the German Ministry of Defence on behalf of former German soldiers who claim to have developed cancer from exposure to x-ray radiation working on military radar systems.
At a press conference in Berlin, Reiner Geulen, lead attorney for the plaintiffs, also told reporters that plans were well underway for a separate class action suit to be filed in the US against manufacturers of radar systems used in Germany.
