In a randomized prospective study of at-risk pregnant women, low-dose aspirin taken at bedtime, rather than earlier in the day, significantly reduces the incidence of preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR) and preterm delivery, Spanish researchers report.
Their findings were presented here Thursday at the American Heart Association’s annual High Blood Pressure Research Conference.
