NEW YORK (Reuters Health) Mar 25 – Among individuals receiving aspirin therapy, urinary levels of 11-dehydro thromboxane B2 are predictive of the risk of myocardial infarction (MI) or cardiovascular death. Higher levels of the thromboxane metabolite may indicate aspirin resistance, and perhaps a need for further antiplatelet therapy.
