Pfizer Inc. has issued a letter to healthcare professionals warning that the prescribing information for its antidepressant sertraline (Zoloft) has been changed to contraindicate the drug’s use with the Tourette’s syndrome treatment pimozide (Orap).
The change was made at the request of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
