Despite a slight decrease in output over the last decade, the US still leads the world in the number of published research articles in basic science and clinical medicine, two researchers have found.
Dr. Mahbubur Rahman and Dr. Tsuguya Fukui, from the Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine waded through a large database of published research articles and recorded the authors’ country of affiliation. Their findings appear in the October 10th issue of The New England Journal of Medicine.
