NEW YORK (Reuters Health) Oct 07 –
Results of a study published in the September issue of Cephalalgia indicate that certain psychiatric traits may correlate with the ability of older women to endure migraine pain. Dr. Peter Mattsson and a colleague from University Hospital, Uppsala, Sweden, examined the association between lifetime history of migraine and lifetime major depression, panic disorder, and neuroticism.
The subjects were 728 women between the ages of 40 and 74 years who were attending a population-based mammography screening program.
