Research from the United States indicates that secondary osteosarcomas are more likely to occur in people older than 40 years at diagnosis.
Secondary osteosarcomas are also more likely to have a non-extremity primary site, say investigators from Wayne State University and St. John Hospital and Medical Centre in Detroit, Michigan.
