The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a guide that gives educators six strategies to help schools manage the problems of students with asthma.
“Schools have an important role in helping students with asthma by adopting ‘asthma-friendly’ policies and procedures,” Dr. Lloyd Kolbe director of the CDC’s adolescents and school health program said in a press statement. “Schools can also coordinate their services for students with asthma and provide asthma education for students and staff,” he added.
