A German ophthalmologist’s right of freedom of expression was violated when, after he appeared in a newspaper story with photo, he was disciplined for breaking a ban on physicians advertising, the European Court of Human Rights announced Thursday.
The case began in September 1994 when Dr. Miro Stambuk, an ophthalmologist, appeared in a news story in the daily Schwbische Zeitung, according to a statement issued by the European Court of Human Rights.
