LONDON (Reuters Health) Apr 16 – A self-management plan being tested in the UK appears to improve the psychological and physical functioning of patients newly diagnosed with angina, according to a report in the March issue of The British Journal of General Practice.
Approximately 1.8 million people in the UK have angina, the authors note, and angina management programs delivered in the hospital setting have been shown to improve quality of life.
