The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) said on Friday that Secretary Tommy Thompson has named 11 doctors, scientists, and health experts to his Advisory Committee on Human Research Protection.
The committee, which is to be headed by the University of Nebraska Medical School’s Associate Dean for Research and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Regulatory Compliance Dr. Ernest Prentice, will advise Thompson on issues involving medical research on human subjects.
