Neurologists working in rural areas can successfully and routinely manage stroke patients via video-conferencing, which can provide more rapid and more convenient access to specialists, researchers said on Monday.
Stroke specialists have been waiting for technology to catch up with the need for fast, accurate two-way picture, sound and CCT (cranial computed tomography) transmission.
