Cigarette smoking and use of other tobacco products significantly increases the risk of death from stomach cancer in men and women, a large prospective cohort study of US adults indicates.
“The accumulated evidence from this and other studies support reconsidering stomach cancer as a tobacco-related cancer,” Dr. Ann Chao and colleagues from the American Cancer Society in Atlanta write in the October 1st issue of the International Journal of Cancer.
