Skin prick testing with common aeroallergens is an especially quick and inexpensive means of ruling out an asthma diagnosis in young adults, Israeli researchers report in the September issue of Chest.
In fact, lead investigator Dr. Yael Graif told Reuters Health “it is particularly valuable in situations where the presence of asthma would impair the ability of a person to perform demanding or life-saving work.”
