Drs. Renee D. Goodwin of Columbia University in New York and Daniel S. Pine of the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland investigated the association between breathing disorders and panic attacks by analyzing data on 3032 adults, 25 to 74
years of age, living in the US.
