LONDON (Reuters Health) Mar 27 – Most doctors would be prepared to stop treatment at the request of a patient, even knowing that to do so would prove fatal, according to a snap survey carried out by the British Medical Association's magazine BMA News Review.
Sixty-one percent of 300 doctors questioned said they would personally be prepared to end a patient's treatment if they had been asked to do so by the patient, knowing that it would end life.
