Going under the cosmetic surgeon’s knife in Britain remains a lottery despite changes in the law to protect patients from rogue surgeons, according to a report by the Consumers’ Association magazine “Health Which” on Tuesday.
An investigation of 11 clinics in London found a catalogue of problems, including surgeons with “vague” medical histories and operations carried out without proper health checks.
