NEW YORK (Reuters Health) May 08 –
Lifelong vegetarianism may provide a small reduction in the risk of breast cancer, according to a report in the May 10th issue of the International Journal of Cancer. However, it appears that the reduced risk may be associated with an increased consumption of vegetables, rather than the absence of meat in the diet.
